FOAM rise from the ashes of a collective (Eindhoven, '96) that quickly rose to the surfaces and disappeared into the depths again. The hard core, together with a violin player / tiger tamer and a rythmh man, created a new repertoire and took the stage during the 2000 edition of the Revenge of Brabant (Wraak van Brabant). In November 2001, FOAM locked themselves up in the Lab van Akoestiek (Interrupted Studio) to record a three-trach appetiser called Fragments. A relief: it's easy to label FOAM ! FOAM Clean cliches, play guitarpop-with-wings. Or postpop: "suitable to be used for a particular purpose". For those tryly needing a reference: Blondie-on-dope.
